Jenny Lee is the Executive Director of Experience Costa Rica. She grew up in the small town of Galveston, Indiana, and learned at a young age that there are many ways to serve the Lord. She was active in her home church before volunteering on short term mission trips during high school and college spring breaks.
God then led her to serve as a full-time missionary with McDowell Mission in Welch, West Virginia. She learned many things—one of which is the importance of taking time away from daily tasks to focus on her relationship with God.
After nearly nine years hosting mission teams at McDowell Mission, God led her to other missions: teaching in a middle school, serving with Habitat for Humanity, working in construction with her dad, and volunteering extensively in a church in North Carolina.
Shortly after, she relocated to Costa Rica and returned to full time ministry. In addition to leading the Experience program, she volunteers in the LaFortuna public elementary school, serves in the local church, and practices relational evangelism.

A native of Costa Rica, Kimberly has been volunteering with Experience for a few years and will be joining Experience in 2024 as an Intern. She will be helping with the English Classroom Project and working with local churches to help train them to do local outreach. We welcome her with open arms and grateful hearts!
Step away from your daily life to experience God in new ways. Step into a different culture to see your own life from a new perspective. Step out as the hands and feet of Jesus.
